VVLynx enables VICIVISION systems to communicate with PLCs, robots, and industrial automation platforms using standard protocols such as PROFINET and PROFIBUS.
Acting as the interface between the optical measuring machine and the factory infrastructure, VVLynx exchanges commands, monitors system status, and transfers dimensional data securely and efficiently. This allows dimensional inspection to become an integral part of automated production workflows, improving operational continuity and ensuring seamless data exchange across manufacturing systems.
The Tool Loop module, integrated into the VVLynx framework, automatically compensates machine tool offsets based on measurement results.
The system acquires dimensional data, compares the measured values with predefined targets, and automatically calculates the offset corrections to be sent to the CNC machine.
As a result, dimensional inspection goes beyond detecting non-conforming parts. It actively stabilizes the manufacturing process by keeping production as close as possible to the center of the tolerance range. This leads to tighter process control, reduced scrap, improved machining consistency, and higher overall production efficiency.
