NEXT-MET, a Special Session proposed as part of the XXV IMEKO World Congress 2027, is dedicated to the latest innovations at the intersection of optical metrology (camera-based measurement systems, confocal, interferometric and tomographic technologies) and Machine Learning, with a particular focus on denoising, reconstruction and measurement reliability.
These topics also play a strategic role in the development of VICIVISION optical measurement systems, designed to provide fast, automated and reliable dimensional inspection directly in production environments.
The Special Session therefore aims to foster collaboration between academia and industry, based on the belief that this synergy is essential for developing increasingly intelligent, robust and integrated measurement solutions for the production processes of the future.
