During the measurement cycle, the software captures images of the part, processes profiles and geometric features, and automatically calculates the required dimensions, including distances, diameters, thicknesses, angles, radii, and much more.
At the end of the inspection cycle, the operator receives an immediate pass/fail result through an intuitive color-coded interface (green = OK, red = NOT OK), together with a complete list of all measured dimensions and their corresponding tolerances.
Metrios enables the creation of measurement programs for both simple and complex inspection tasks using either real part images or 2D DXF geometry.
The workflow is straightforward: the inspection program is created once by the quality or metrology engineer, while production operators simply recall and run it without needing any metrology expertise.
The software stores all measurement results over time and supports data export in Q-DAS, CSV, and other standard formats. This allows seamless integration with SPC and MES systems, making measurement data an integral part of the company's quality management workflow.
Metrios also includes traceability and access control features designed for regulated manufacturing environments, with user management, measurement program change tracking, and full traceability of measurement cycles (IQ/OQ).
