VICIVISION software is designed to integrate seamlessly with industrial automation systems, enabling reliable communication with PLCs, robots, and CNC machines through standard industrial protocols such as PROFINET and PROFIBUS.

With dedicated tools such as VVLynx, data exchange is simple, secure, and reliable across the entire manufacturing environment.

This level of integration allows VICIVISION systems to operate either as standalone measuring stations or as part of fully automated production cells. In a robotic cell, for example, the robot can load the part, trigger the measurement cycle, and automatically sort conforming and non-conforming components based on the inspection results.

Connected to the factory network, the optical measuring machine becomes an active node within the production process, directly controlled by the PLC. Measurement cycles can be started remotely, machine status can be monitored in real time, inspection data can be exchanged with other systems, and dimensional inspection can be synchronized with the different stages of manufacturing.

The result is an in-line dimensional inspection solution that improves production efficiency, reduces manual intervention, and supports advanced automation and quality control strategies.
