“Well, the price was certainly one of the reasons why we chose VICI, but as I said, it was mainly the quality, because quality is the be-all and end-all for us.
We had three suppliers to choose from, so we tested all three of them. I had each machine there for about a week. We did tests with different workpieces and tried to see what was repeatable. Then we found that this VICI system has the advantage of a live image and in this live image you can also see deviations.
And of course, the accuracy totally convinced us and that’s why we decided for this machine. And of course, we were totally convinced by the accuracy and decided to use this device. Today, most of the production is done with this device. No matter whether we are setting up new parts or repeat parts, you put the part in, let it run and have a complete measurement in 5 to 10 seconds, know what your part is like, readjust it on the machine. And that’s how we set up all the parts.”
